User Experience Designer, Apple Store + Retail
Overview
At Apple, I worked on the Apple Store team to consolidate the company’s online and offline retail experiences. This included redesigning the buying experience for two major product launches — iPhone 6 and Apple Watch.
The /store Days
When I started at Apple, there were two completely different experiences on their website: the marketing Apple.com experience, and the shopping Apple.com/store experience. After new retail leadership finally called for a unified digital experience, I set out with a team of designers to rethink how this could all come together while improving the core UX.
New Buy Flow
We ran this project in two parallel tracks: improve the store experience for the release of upcoming new products, and rethink the overall IA of the site to better unify marketing and shopping experiences.
