Worth Watching: Watchmen trailer Video | (0)
Like many of you, I first saw the Watchmen trailer during the previews before The Dark Knight. The second time seeing it (in IMAX, no less) really blew me away visually, but what really got me was the premise for the graphic novel on which the movie is based. I caught this video TED video while on vacation in Germany and it really blew me away. Watch as neurologist Jill Bolte describes her experience studying the brain and how we think while she's having a stroke. If you're anything like me, it'll give you a beautiful bit of insight about how we think and make decisions. It's also a really revealing description of how it might be to have a stroke.

Kinetic Sculpture, BMW Museum (München) Video | (2)
I'm wrapping up my trip to Germany, and stopped by the the BMW Museum in München today. The Kinetic Sculpture consists of 740 metallic orbs that dance around and form shapes (like cars, as seen here) in mid-air. This was pretty amazing! Click above to see my video of the sculpture on Flickr.

In the Presence of Greatness Video | (2)
So by some fluke of nature (we're still not sure how - maybe human intervention), the latest episode of Dear Toronto (a video podcast I co-producer with Ryan and Rebecca), Toronto Green Roof and Tree Tour ended up climbing to the #1 featured video on YouTube this week. Design and the Elastic Mind Video | (0)
I've written about Paola Antonelli before, but I think the above video by Cool Hunting gives even more understanding about her sense of design which I find so interesting. She takes almost an engineer's approach to the role of the designer, looking at it as a necessity for solving a problem and doing it in an elegant and novel way - innovation. I really appreciate the work she highlights because it's some of the most thought-provoking and profound stuff you'll see. No wonder why I have such a desire to visit MoMA!

Having graduated from university almost a year ago, I'm no longer a student, but still remember very vividly how school changed in the almost five years I spent in my program.
