Happy Spring!

Happy Spring!

Taken with my 50mm 1.8 lens that I’m in love with on a sunny, happy day near Lake Ontario.

Last Wheels

Last Wheels

Spring is in the air, and summer’s just around the corner. This will be my last summer with a car for a long time, as I’ll be selling my beloved Mini shortly before moving into my place downtown in August.

It’s been a great little car, and I’ve had a lot of fun with it. At the same time, I’m really looking forward to getting out of the routine of commuting back and forth from downtown.

Mahalo!

Mahalo!

Mahalo is a Hawaiian word meaning “thank you.”

A big mahalo to Jason Calacanis and Mahalo for the mug!

Of course, I’m open to a wide range of free stuff!

Let it Snow

Let it Snow

I’m hearing that Toronto got hit with another round of snow today - I say keep it coming! Last winter was so grey, dry, and dull that the snow is really a beautiful addition to a usually bleak landscape in the winter.

Captured!

me

While I won’t be quitting my day job to kick start a modeling career any time soon, I think Rannie did a great job capturing my very awkward presence yesterday.

I saw a lot of Rannie’s photography well before I met him in person, and I’ve always been impressed with his work. Head on over to the Photojunkie for the full set.

A Foggy Night for some Football

A Foggy Night for some Football

I came home late Friday night to see the soccer field near my house completely lit up, and a thick layer of fog rolling over the grass. It was quite the surreal scene, for sure, and I’m happy how eerily the photos conveyed it.

The Duel

The Duel

I’ve been experimenting a lot lately with lighting and focus in my photography. Here’s one that came out just like I wanted it.
