Its funny, I’ve seen this artist edging up the popular searches over on the Hype Machine, but didn’t much care to listen. Its not my type of music, but there is something about it – even though
I don’t usually dig rap – but her music is not bad to have on in the background. The Santogold/Justice L.E.S.D.A.N.C.E. mixup was pretty interesting, made her song a lot better in my opinion. Check it at http://hypem.com/track/549823

Phil, yeah I’m with ya. She’s got a MIA-like thing going on where it’s genre-bending. I love that mix as well – been in heavy rotation lately!
If I was making a movie set 100 years in the future and there was a club scene, this is the song I’d have playing there.
Yeah that mix is a little wild. The original, by comparison, is pretty tame but still awesome nonetheless.
