Aug. 11 Design Review

I just unearthed myself from thousands upon thousands of unread RSS items, with at least a thousand in the design category alone. It was an exercise in speed-reading, to say the least. Here’s some of the good stuff that goes back at least two to three weeks.

Anh Ta at product dose laments about the lack of non-fugly backpacks in the market. Meanwhile, Nike releases their 3-Way Commuter Bag that looks perfectly suited for my new lifestyle working downtown. My name’s Adam and I have a problem with buying bags.
When I first heard Chemical Brothers’ new album, I knew Salmon Dance was bound to have an off-the-wall, potentially insane video. I’ve got to say I kind of expected a little more, but it’s an awesome animation nonetheless.

Presentation Zen gets into the good stuff from Steve Jobs’ press event last week where they announced the beautiful new aluminum iMac and new super-thin Apple keyboard. (Quick aside - note the simplicity in Apple marketing goes right down to product URLs. I didn’t even have to look them up for each of these products, it was just /iMac and /keyboard right off the TLD)
