Google Maps’ Street View is watching!

Caught in the act!

When Google first unveiled the satellite view for their Maps application a while back, there was a lot of outcry about the potential privacy implications. Well, you aint seen nothing yet. They’ve just recently unveiled their new Street View feature in select US cities, which is similar, yet highly superior to Microsoft’s Live Maps birds eye view. To say they’ve captured some interesting slices of life is an understatement, evidenced by the photo above, for example, at 682 Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco, which looks as though they’ve got company coming over.

It’s probably no surprise, then, that the Web has already put together a site to catalog these sightings — Enter streetviewr (note the obligatory missing ‘e’). BuzzFeed has got a whole lot of good ones, as well.
