Michael Heilemann is right, you should get to know Amon Tobin and his music. I caught wind of his stuff via last.fm when I saw him on one of my neighbours’ playlists, and I was really impressed with what I heard. His latest album, Foley Room, has a really dark overtone to it, and reminds me a lot of the kind of thing you’d hear from Pan’s Labyrinth. The piano geek in me is loving the bits he’s thrown in there, too.
