Nuit Blanche ‘07 gets a date and calls for submissions
I regrettably missed Toronto’s Nuit Blanche event last October, so it’s great to see that they’ve decided to go ahead and keep it going this year. Nuit Blanche is an all-night cultural and art event that started in Paris several years ago, and the idea took off in many other cities, Toronto being one of them. Local artists are given the opportunity to submit ideas and put together exhibits all over the city. The Centre for Contemporary Canadian Art has some photos and details on what happened at last year’s event. Artists and cultural institutions can now begin submitting proposals for this year’s event, which will happen on September 29th. [via BlogTO]
